this face soap has been thoughtfully handmade to suit blemished or irritable skin that is in need of calming and balancing.

High quality Cornish Rapeseed Oil has been infused with Camomile flowers and Calendula petals blended with Coconut Oil and Jojoba Oil and made into soap using the Traditional Cold Process Method. Powdered Calamine was added with Essential Oils of Palmarosa and Petitgrain.

“Why did you go to such bother to add these particular ingredients?” I imagine you are asking!

Because all of the ingredients have their own properties that lend themselves to calming your skin:

Camomile – has strong anti-inflammatory properties making it particularly suited to sensitive skins prone to inflammation.

Calendula – helps soothe rashes

Calamine – relieves redness

Jojoba Oil – is very mild and actually helps make greasy skin better. It moisturises skin all day so its ideal for dry faces too. Jojoba is known to help with rosacea.*

Palmarosa Essential Oil – used to treat dry skin

Petitgrain Essential Oil – from the green twigs and leaves of the bitter orange tree – used for acne and oily skin.

*Jojoba Oil isnt really an oil but a type of liquid wax. The substance is very similar to oil in human skin
